Neurology and neurosurgery take different approaches to the treatment. While neurosurgery focuses on surgical treatments, neurology usually takes a medicinal approach although it takes an invasive treatment such as angiography if necessary. In addition, certain conditions could be caused by psychological, emotional or mental illnesses rather than physical causes of the nervous systems. In this case, it might require a mental health care.
